Description My client is seeking a Controller to join their family. This is a small office and the quintessential small company controller background is needed. Very hands on, handling all the day-to-day accounting as well as month end, processing payroll, a/p, a/r, etc. This controller will be supervising a small team. Need to be well versed in QuickBooks and Excel.Applicants can apply by sending your resume to Joe Ciavardini via LinkedIn or email me at joe.ciavardini@roberthalfResponsibilities: Oversee and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records Handle General Ledger (GL) maintenance and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded Conduct Month End Close (MEC) processes and ensure timely reporting Prepare and process Journal Entries (JE's) as required Oversee daily cash receipts and ensure they are accurately recorded and deposited Utilize QuickBooks and Excel (pivot tables) for financial tasks and reporting Participate in various projects as needed to support the overall business operations Work closely with the Director of Finance and occasionally with the CFO Ensure all financial operations and processes are in compliance with company policies and regulations.Requirements Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Controller Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary Must have experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must Experience in Bank Reconciliations is required Must have experience handling Daily Cash Receipts Proficiency in using Pivot Table is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
