Associate (Atairos Management, L.P. – New York, NY); Multiple Positions Available.
Participate in analysis of company information to evaluate the attractiveness of potential investments. Conduct primary research around the industries and business models of companies of interest. Responsible for compiling and analyzing comparative performance metrics, evaluating financial information included in a virtual data room or public company filings, and building financial models based on each situation. Participate in due diligence efforts and contribute to the final investment recommendation, to include development of investment memos and presentation materials. Support current portfolio companies with financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, or other project work. Perform external research, to include completing company screening analyses to identify additional investment opportunities. Position based in New York, NY. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week. Domestic travel required up to 10% of working time.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics or a related field and 2 years of experience in investment banking. Must have 2 years of experience in the following: Working with finance, accounting and investment principles including financial statement analysis and valuation techniques; Developing advanced financial models; Researching relevant industry and market trends; and, Using Microsoft Excel and related data platforms including Capital IQ and FactSet. Experience may be gained concurrently. Position based in New York, NY. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week. Domestic travel required up to 10% of working time.
