Job Summary:
We are looking for a part-time Sportsbook Trading Operations Assistant to support our trading team with essential tasks, providing smooth daily operations and real-time assistance. This role is ideal for a college student in New York—preferably from Columbia University or NYU—with a passion for sports, an interest in trading, and strong organizational skills. Compensation is negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily operations of sportsbook accounts used by traders.
Track account activity and help generate relevant reports.
Support relationships with clients, traders, and sportsbook VIP hosts.
Aid in capital allocation deployment to support traders.
Optimize betting site setups and account structures for efficient trading.
Help traders identify optimal trading opportunities and alert them to key sports events.
Provide real-time support during trading sessions, including event monitoring and information tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current college student in New York, available 2-3 days per week.
Knowledge and interest in sports, with an understanding of game rules and key events.
Background in finance, business, or a related quantitative field is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort with data analysis.
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Enthusiasm for learning and supporting traders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
