Operations Associate
Greenpoint, Brooklyn
20 USD / hour
Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm
We are a Brooklyn-based confectionery company looking for an Operations Associate to join our team. You would provide customer service and operational support through daily tasks and administrative needs. This is a full time in-person position at our Greenpoint, Brooklyn location.
Expectations include supporting the Operations Team, assisting with online and in-person customer service, order fulfillment and other operational needs while adhering to company policies and standards.
The ideal candidate will be well organized, self sufficient, adaptable to changes and willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done. Must be able to work well with others on a team.
What you’ll be doing:
Communicate with e-commerce customers to assist with customer needs and provide satisfactory solutions
Assist customers in a storefront setting, providing further information about the product and handling sales transactions
Fulfilling and processing orders for e-commerce and in-person retail setting, including preparing orders for shipment or pick up, taking orders to post office as needed
Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and shipments
Filing claims with postal services for damaged or lost orders
Processing returns from postal services, including customer outreach and reshipments
Assisting with product stock, including weekly inventory and maintaining stock
Daily cleaning and maintenance of office/retail space, miscellaneous errands as needed
Occasional off-site retail events such as pop up shops or conventions

You’ve worked in an operations environment before, preferably at an e-commerce company
