The typical application has a C#/.NET back-end and a WPF or HTML5/modern JavaScript front-end. The application often needs to efficiently deliver large volumes of trade or pricing data to the desktop. Therefore, experience with asynchronous programming paradigms for the UI's is important. Our service-oriented systems are built on C# backends with RESTful or message-oriented communication. These services need to be scalable, highly available, and testable. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You will build applications that push the envelope when it comes to throughput, latency, resiliency, all the while Making sure that we deliver on-time and within budget.
- Design, implement and maintain C#/.NET application phases
- Take part in software and architectural development activities
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
- Identify production and non-production application issues
- Transform requirements into stipulations
- Develop, test, implement and maintain application software
- Recommend changes to improve established java application processes
- Develop technical designs for application development
- Develop application code for client projects and/or programs

- 5+ years of experience in writing commercial-grade software applications
- 5+ years of solid hand-on experience with C#/.Net Development
- 3+ years of experience in SQL
- 3+ years of experience with multi-tier architectures
- An understanding of SOLID software design principles
- Strong grasp of software design patterns and effective development methodologies
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of, and strong demonstrated interest in, global financial markets and financial products preferred
