Markets Credit and Price Risk Execution is mandated to establish and maintain a robust first line of defense designed to minimize risk within the business including leading critical control initiatives to mitigate risk in Trading, while ensuring strong governance to measure, monitor, manage and escalate key risks.Markets Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) is a first line function responsible for setting the strategy for, planning, and coordinating the Markets’ global and local RRP deliverables. Responsibilities include submissions for relevant sections in Citi’s Recovery and Resolution plans and ensuring compliance with other relevant regulatory requirements. Markets RRP works closely with the Businesses, Central RRP, Independent Risk Management, Legal, Finance, and others.As a member of the Markets RRP, you will deliver integrated solutions supporting Citi’s global Recovery and Resolution Framework. This role provides an exciting opportunity to participate in an important area of regulatory focus and be involved in developing the firm's thinking and approach to resolvability as its business model continues to evolve.Responsibilities:
Support assessment, analysis and implementation of regulatory requirements related to RRP with key focus on QFC Stay and Bail in rules.
As Markets QFC Stay & Bail-in lead, coordinate and implement strategies and controls to evidence regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Enhance governance as well as policy and procedures for Stay and Bail in.
Proactively engage with peers and senior management across Global Markets and Support functions, to ensure successful implementation and monitoring of Resolution Planning and Stay requirements.
Author chapters and other relevant sections in Citi’s RRP plan related to Derivative and Trading Non-Wind down.
Qualifications:
Fundamental knowledge of US and UK Recovery & Resolution Planning requirements and other applicable regulations.
Experience in either RRP, Business Risk and Control, CAO team, Regulatory Reporting, or related functions.
Good understanding of trading agreements, e.g. ISDA and legal contracts related collateral rights.
Experience designing business controls to mitigate inherent risks.
Project experience or working knowledge of pre-trade approval or system architecture.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with experience in a complex global environment.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; must be a creative problem solver.
Education
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree
