They will also work simultaneously with licensees to grow in their respective categories, as well making sure licensees remain compliant to contractual obligations. This role will also support the communication and follow up of the licensed categories overseen by the Director of Licensing.RESPONSIBILITIES:Product Licensing:
General/Daily:
Day-to-day communication with Licensing team, licensees, and internal cross-functional teams
Assist Licensing team with special projects and analysis (i.e. annual Licensing meetings, competitive analysis, store visits, etc.)
Working with Legal and Finance teams to maintain understanding of license contracts and keep legal files up to date
Assist with the monitoring of licensee’s compliance to ensure businesses follow the established contract
Arrange meetings, develop agendas, and prepare meeting recaps/follow-ups
Act as point person for senior management related business information requests (i.e. door counts by account, best seller reports, etc)
Product Development
Own master PD calendar; work with Licensees on a seasonal basis to get updated landmark dates; share with Design and other internal teams
Attend key product development meetings and market appointments and prepare recap notes, as needed
Work with counterparts on the International Licensing team to ensure regional needs (product, marketing, sales, and distribution) are being met with the licensed partners
Seasonally collect licensee market dates, line sheets, pricing,
Support TH Sustainability Team deploy Tommy Hilfiger’s Global Sustainable Business Strategy into TH NA Licensees: including support on product claims and data management.
Marketing/Advertising
Coordinate sample requests for PR and Marketing
Assist with selecting products that will be featured in advertising campaigns
Schedule meetings to ensure PR team receives samples and promotes key seasonal licensed products
Liaise with On Product marketing teams for any packaging needs
Distribution/Retail:
Stay up to date on the retail landscape and report on relevant news
Monitor distribution to ensure licensed products are sold to accounts that are approved and consistent with brand direction and work to improve where necessary existing distribution and penetration
Lead the account approval process and handle all documentation
Understanding of the Macy’s business across all categories
Visit stores regularly to stay in touch with retail environment with regards to in-store presentation, competition, pricing, packaging, product, promotion and trends
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3+ years’ experience in related field/area with general knowledge of licensing preferred
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong written and oral communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word; Adobe Acrobat
Strong interpersonal Skills
Analytical problem solver with ability to multi-task
Self-motivated, attention to detail and organizational skills
Passion for product, a plus
Ability to multi task, handle time to be able to adhere to numerous divisional deadlines
High attention to detail; thorough in all projects
Approachable; able to work with numerous personalities to find solution
