It Generalist

Description:As an IT Generalist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our internal operations support teams, hardware, software, and bridge the technical and non-technical gap between our level 1 support staff and our level 3 engineers.Skills:microsoft, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, server administratorTop Skills Details:microsoft,troubleshooting,root cause analysis,server administratorAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Baseline skills/experiences/attributes: BS degree in related field or equivalent experience. MS degree in a related field or equivalent experience is a plus Senior level experience with VMware 4.x and above, Dell PowerStore SANs, HP DL series server hardware, Veritas Backup solutions, Brocade switches, Trend Anti-virus products, Carbon Black, MS365 administration, Centrify, DUO, ManageEngine. Working knowledge and hands-on experience with a large-scale VMWare ESX/vSphere 4x farm utilized for server and desktop virtualization in a MS windows and Linux environment. Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory including OU administration/group policies, DFS, federated domains. Experience with troubleshooting VPN issues. Ability to drive/travel NY/NJ/PA region as required to support our datacenters and multiple in-region customers either onsite or remotely. Extensive general systems experience 5+ years of related experience. Experience and working knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting HP, Dell, SuperMicro server hardware, and other related systems devices deployed as physical and virtual appliances.Experience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
