Eastern Time Zone strongly preferred, but open to candidates in Pacific/Central/Mountain Time Zone.) Collaboration with our Finland and US teams are required for this position.What you will do:
Drive manufacturing readiness for NPI
Provide onsite support at manufacturing sites during development and production ramp, and ensure all systems are ready for mass production.
Partner closely with Hardware Program Managers, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to hit deadlines and meet volume commitments
Cultivate relationships with our Contract Manufacturers and various suppliers
Ensure all factory-facing changes are documented and controlled with proper validation and signoffs
Be an advocate for program excellence, keeping internal and external teams focused on what is necessary to deliver on time and in scope
Ensure all operational KPIs are met
Lead post-ramp validations for product and process changes
Work closely with engineering and supply chain teams to qualify alternate sources on time
Identify and manage improvements for cost and quality
Risk Management:
Manage risks between both CM and internal teams, partnering on mitigation and driving resolution
Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact program timelines
Address conflict head on, actively working to overcome all adversity
Communication:
Foster a collaborative and productive working environment with open communication to all stakeholders
Provide regular program status updates to senior management
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Documentation and Reporting:
Inform overall program schedule and dependencies to ensure manufacturing needs are taken into account
Maintain comprehensive program documentation, utilising systems like Jira to keep everyone on track and moving in the same direction
Own the preparation of program reports made public to each level of the company
Drive efficiency through systems both internally and externally with our CMs and vendors
RequirementsWe would love to have you on our team if you have:
8-10+ years of experience with complex NPI line bring up across SMT, FATP and packout
Ability to travel and be onsite at our contract manufacturing sites
Experience establishing and hitting mass production readiness criteria
Experience working with all engineering disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Design, Firmware, Manufacturing, Quality
Post launch experience to sustain products over time.
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
A Drive for Results, willingness to learn and push the team to deliver on time and under budget
A desire to learn new things and accept challenges
Comfort speaking to all audiences and the ability to adapt complex challenges into tangible solutions

While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions.
