Systems Engineer - AWS

Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Systems Engineer, specializing in AWS, to join the team with one of our prestigious financial clients. This person can be located in New York City or Dallas, Texas. The team is looking to hire for these roles in response to delays in critical projects across multiple engineering teams, necessitating an immediate expansion of the development workforce to ensure timely completion. You are joining a team responsible for the integration of complex systems into AWS. You will be tasked to integrate system functions and conduct unit tests that need to be added or processes that need to get changed. Were looking for candidates with at least 2+ years of enterprise experience and are comfortable with AWS, Java programming, DevOps, SRE, and containerization (Kubernetes). Any experience with Kong, Lua, WebSocket, GitLab, or Copilot would set you apart. This person should be comfortable with the firm-wide on-site requirement for any of the locations. This initiative runs through the end of 2024, with strong potential for extensions based on performance and project needs.
