Chavela's is a very busy neighborhood restaurant in Crown Heights Brooklyn.
We are seeking an experienced, speedy bartender to join our team for 4 -5 shifts a week, which will include at least one lunch shift. If you are a hard working quick thinker with an outgoing personality and a sense of urgency, please apply.
Requirements:
At least two years experience bartending
Knowledge of agave spirits
Speed and ability to handle high volume
Commitment to hospitality and great service
Experience serving food, willing to work serving shifts on occasion
Keeps a clean work space
Personable and energetic
Proactive – a problem solver
Reliable, punctual, detail oriented
Passion for Mexican food and service
Has a great attitude and is a pleasure to work with and be around
Lives locally a plus. Knowledge of Toast a plus.
Must be able to work Sundays.
