GAHM by mokbar is a concept by Chef Esther Choi who is inspired by the culture and lifestyle of Korea along with her American upbringing. With her personal passion for introducing New Yorkers to the flavors of Korean American culture, Chef Esther combines traditional and modern influences with local & seasonal ingredients in her many varieties of shareable plates.

1+ years in NYC restaurant scene
Work at least 4-5 service shifts a week on the line at all peak hours
Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
Preparing components of each dish on the menu and station
Reporting to the executive and sous chef and following instructions.
Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
Cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers.
Stocking inventory and supplies.
Cooking menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.
