The Gutter Brooklyn AND Long Island City
is looking for an energetic and motivated part time floor manager.
You will help maintain the bowling lane machines, create a great customer experience,
and make sure our floor staff has what it needs to be excellent. Mechanical aptitude is a
must, and our in-house licensed mechanic will provide lane training.
We need a hands-on, great communicator who can manage staff, smile to the
guests, and see to the operations of the lanes. The Gutter is a late night operation that
runs until 4 am every night.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Opening and closing the bar
● Overseeing all FOH positions while on shift
● Overseeing all monies on shift
● Communicating issues with upper management
● In house inventory assessment
● Seeing to the needs of customers and employees on shift
● Performing duties of employees on floor if needed
● Follow and maintain DOH standards and procedures
● Create a positive working environment for all employees
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
● Basic mechanical abilities a must
● Guest service and resolution skills
● Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends and holidays
● Ability to demonstrate integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values
● Ability to work under pressure
● NYC Food Handler Certification required-if you don't have one we will get you one
● Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Excel and other similar programs a plus
● Fluency in other languages a plus
● Bowling experience a plus
