We re looking for a Head Sushi Chef to lead our rooftop team in midtown Manhattan. If you have a passion for omakase, love experimenting with flavors, and take pride in your craft, we d love to meet you.
What You'll Be Doing
Create stunning sushi and omakase dishes that wow our guests
Prepare various types of sushi according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, and presentation.
Keep quality, freshness, and presentation at the highest standards
Maintain a clean, organized station and ensure smooth kitchen flow
Work closely with service teams to keep things running seamlessly
Help design seasonal and creative new menu items
Interact with guests to make their dining experience personal and memorable
What You ll Bring to the Table
3+ years of experience as a Sushi Chef (omakase experience required)
Strong leadership skills and a collaborative attitude
Mastery of sushi techniques, knife skills, and presentation
Ability to adapt to guest preferences and dietary needs
Calm under pressure and thrives during the dinner rush
Attention to detail and pride in your craft
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices
A positive, guest-focused attitude that elevates the experience for everyone
