Chubby Cattle BBQ NYC is part of the award-winning Chubby Cattle International Group, known for elevating the hotpot and BBQ dining experience with premium ingredients, innovative service, and a fun, team-oriented atmosphere. We’re expanding our NYC team and looking for passionate, hardworking Kitchen Helpers to support our fast-paced kitchen operations.
Job Responsibilities
1. Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning ingredients).
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, prep stations, and storage areas.
3. Ensure all equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are sanitized according to health and safety standards.
4. Support dishwashing, waste disposal, and restocking of supplies as needed.
5. Assist in receiving and organizing food deliveries.
6. Perform other back-of-house duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
1. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred but not required (we provide training).
2. Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
4. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
5. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
