In Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, American Bartender's School is NYC's most prominent full-certification bartender training school. We're a New York State Education Department licensed trade school; we've trained over 100,000 bartenders and added dozens more to the ranks every week. Thousands of our graduates currently work at famous and notable bars across NY and nationwide since 1969!
We are currently seeking additional full and part-time bartending instructors to add to our team. Job duties include teaching our set curricula by way of lectures and practical demonstrations, monitoring student progress, taking daily attendance, proctoring and marking exams, logging scores, maintaining the classroom, keeping inventory of necessary equipment, cleaning up after sessions, and promoting upsells to students.
We are seeking an instructor for our weekend class on Saturdays, some weekday and evening shifts are also possible.
We offer onsite training (regardless of your experience) on how the material should be applied. The ideal candidate will have solid bartending experience or bartender training experience.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
Starts at $20/hr.
