We are currently looking to hire a part time server at Gen restaurant near prospect park.
We are a japanese restaurant that serves sushi omakase and also warm dishes with plenty of vegetarian options.
Gen is a warm and earthy atmosphere, as we have been in the neighborhood for 21 years. We are looking for a motivated and energetic staff to join our team, with at least 1-2 years of experience as a server. We would appreciate someone detail oriented with a good understanding of teamwork in the front of house. Knowledge and understanding of japanese food and sake is extremely encouraged, as many of our customers enjoy pairings of food and drink.
An ideal candidate would be able to work around two to three days a week, from 4:30 pm to around 10:30/11pm Tuesdays through Sundays (we are closed on Mondays). At this time we are looking for someone with a flexible schedule.
