Part-Time Barista Team Leader

Monday: 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Team Leader Barista to join our café team. This role is ideal for someone who loves coffee, takes pride in customer service, and enjoys leading by example in a friendly and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily workflow of the operation.
Evaluate team performance.
Receive and verify incoming shipments,
Daily record of coffee production and waste
Perform other related duties as assigned (assignments may vary).
Ensure that staff clean working environment at all times
Uphold and enforce all company policies and requirements
Ensure all coffee equipment is clean and operable on a daily basis
Manage food waste
Enforce all health code and food + safety requirements
Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and other café beverages.
Supervise and support one other barista to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure all customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment.
Monitor and restock supplies, including coffee beans, cups, milk, and other essentials.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure every guest has a positive experience.
Ensure quality of all products according to/NYC policies. Conduct regular inventory and sanitary checks.
Minimum 1 year of barista experience (supervisory experience preferred).
Strong coffee-making and latte art skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and quality standards.
Increase sale, creating daily sales target and goals.
Arrange and garnish menu items
Work well under pressure and within the time limit
Work closely with staff to support efficiency and communication
Ensure proper food preparation, handling and rotation
Must have DOH Food handler license
