Miss Nellie’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team. This role is ideal for a hands-on cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take the next step in their culinary career.
Expectations:
-Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
-Lead and motivate the line during service
-Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
-Assist with prep, ordering, inventory, and cost control
-Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards
-Help train and develop kitchen staff
What We’re Looking For:
-2+ years experience in a professional kitchen (lead line cook or sous chef level)
-Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
-Calm, focused leadership during busy service
-Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
