Birdland is a world renowned Jazz Club located in the heart of Midtown (315 W 44th Street)
and we are looking for experienced floor managers and hosts to join our team!
Who are we?-
The Managers / Hosts at Birdland are an extremely integral role to the closing/opening of our club. Our daily tasks include, but are not limited to-
-Setting up the dining room
-Organizing reservations for the upcoming events
-Taking reservations, answering FAQ's, creative problem solving, managing artist relations
-Expediting/Serving (if needed)
-Selling tickets to walk-ins.
We are essentially the helping hands that are around to assist where we're needed most at the time. Managers' roles are much more tedious and require more commitment to learning about this industry.
Who are you?-
-Upbeat, outgoing, well spoken.
-Has (at least) 3 years of RESTAURANT experience
-Organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task
- Knowledgable on pop culture / current events
-Passion for music / entertainment
-Open availability (Nights)

-Starting rate is $250+ (may vary) PER SHIFT, not including cash tips made at the gift shop/coat check. We review performance and daily rates every 6 months.
