Immediate need for a porter/maintenence person.
This is a permanent, full-time position at a large midtown Jewish religious institution, and you will be a part of a small and effective team. You will be involved in clean-up, including sweeping, waxing, and buffing. You will also help move light furniture from one meeting room to another. In addition, you will be involved in light maintenance work.
This is a very stable organization, offering fully paid health insurance (a benefit that is worth about $15,000 a year!), paid vacation and sick days, and many other benefits. The starting salary is $19.50/hr. Definite merit raises!
Please note: This is a 40- hour, 5 day week week with a possibility of paid overtime. You must be flexible, as the hours may include some weekends or hours that end early evening.
