The largest punk/metal record label in Westchester is seeking an intern to start immediately. Some of it will be administrative grunt work - full disclosure - you will probably be making a few trips to the post office, but it's an easy walk. However, you'll have an opportunity to interface with bands, help out with social media, possibly even get interviewed. You'll be listed on our website and be representing the label, so great opportunity for experience if punk or metal is your thing.
As with all record labels, this is an unpaid internship, but it will look great on a resume and you'll get a great recommendation letter if it works out.
Must haves: first and foremost, a love for loud, aggressive music. Also, must have own reliable transportation to downtown White Plains, and an Instagram account in order to coordinate with bands and magazines/podcasters. Must be friendly and outgoing, or at least be able to fake it. We are a left-leaning, very progressive label, so make sure that's for you. Also, we need someone to start ASAP. Like, yesterday.
Preferred: Web design experience really preferred. Marketing experience, or a willingness to learn. Organized and able to write cohesively and coherently. Someone with fresh ideas to bring to the table would be great, your ideas will be listened to.
