Presidio is seeking an Entry-Level IT Support Technician for a Production Company client based in New York City.
The position offers flexible scheduling with the following shift options available:
Monday–Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Monday–Friday: 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Saturday–Sunday: 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Saturday–Sunday: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Presidio is seeking four Entry Level or Junior IT Technicians to support a large client’s new location. These individuals will offer support onsite and interact with staff members face-to-face. It is expected that the Technicians will be able to handle a variety of end-user IT-related issues. These roles require a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and superior customer service.
Initiate technology activation with end users.
Test workstations and printers before employees move-in to ensure readiness.
Track issues with technology and promptly update status.
Work with other teams to help identify and implement solutions to ensure end user issue resolution.
Offer end users hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, including troubleshooting.
Display an approach that prioritizes providing end users with excellent service and support.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field. Internship or Co-op in a similar role will be helpful.
Knowledge of mobile devices, computer accessories, and hardware components.
Experience in resolving typical IT concerns, network connectivity issues, and software credential difficulties.
Demonstrated experience helping end users in a corporate setting with deskside support and technical assistance.
Thorough understanding of productivity software and desktop operating systems.
Strong communication skills, including the capability to clearly explain technical ideas to non-technical users.
Compensation:$25/hour (W2) Start Date: Week of January 6, 2025 Duration: Initial 3-month contract through Presidio, with potential extensions through June 2025.
