Job Title: IT Consultant (Helpdesk)

Report to: Head of the IT Department

Must be fluent in English and Mandarin.

100% onsite

Temp to hire

$23 to $40 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

% of time

30% Assist supervisor or department head in ensuring daily operation of banking compliance systems by following operation procedure;

20% Assist supervisor or department head with enhancements, including patching network devices and servers, installing and upgrading software and hardware, and configuring systems;

10% Assist the supervisor or department head to perform daily monitoring of system operation and report to IT management if any issues identified.

10% Provide timely responses to helpdesk tickets and on-demand end users requests.

10% Assist the team leader in submitting various documents, procedures, and reports to the department supervisor.

10% Assist the department head in developing or building IT management tools/platforms to improve the quality and efficiency of departmental operations.

5% Assist system administrators and network administrators in technical troubleshooting and repair work.

5% Perform other tasks as assigned by the Department Head.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

College graduate or equivalent experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Working experience in one of aspects of IT Helpdesk, System Administration, cyber/information security, data management, and etc.is plus;

SPECIFICATIONS:

Fluent in English and Chinese. Have strong written and oral communication skills in English and oral communication in Mandarin.

Self-motivated and with strong responsibility.

Good knowledge in IT management, IT risk management framework, IT risk assessment and testing, cyber security, third party management, IT operation, inventory and patch management, BCP, incident response, and etc.;

Rich experience in communicating with regulators of OCC, Federal Reserve and implementing the corrective action plan for regulator’s concerns with satisfactory results;

Familiar with the regulation, laws and regulatory guidance related to IT such as OCC guidance, Federal Reserve, NIST, FFIEC, CAT (Cyber-security Assessment Tool), COBIT5, and etc.;

Proficient in Python or Java development and programming

Holding professional certifications of CISSP, CISA, ISACA is a good plus.
