IT Salesperson - 6 Month Contract Position

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven IT Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information technology products and services, and a passion for connecting clients with solutions that drive business success. You will play a key role in identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals that contribute to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Understand and present our IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, managed services, and more.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.

Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients in collaboration with internal teams.

Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client communications using CRM tools.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Requirements

Proven experience in IT sales, technology solutions sales, or a similar field.

Strong understanding of IT products and services, including SaaS, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to understand customer needs and craft appropriate solutions.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience selling B2B IT solutions or working with MSPs.

Existing client base or strong network in the technology industry.

Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
