Studio Technician with Live Sound Experience ONLY

Are you passionate about music and live sound engineering? Do you have experience with both analog and digital mixing boards? Are you skilled in providing exceptional live sound experiences for bands and artists? Are you computer savvy? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

-Operate analog and digital mixing boards to ensure high-quality live sound for bands and artists.

-Set up and maintain audio equipment, including microphones, amplifiers, and speakers.

-Troubleshoot technical issues related to sound equipment during rehearsals and live performances.

-Collaborate with musicians and artists to understand their sound preferences and provide tailored audio support.

-Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the rehearsal studios.

-Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer inquiries.

-Perform occasional handyman tasks and studio maintenance as needed.

-You'll be responsible for managing bookings or appointments, including maintaining a schedule and booking system, ensuring no scheduling conflicts, and confirming appointments with clients.

-Charging clients accordingly involves handling payments. This may include processing credit card transactions, accepting cash payments, or managing online payment platforms. Accuracy is crucial to ensure clients are charged the correct amount.

-Maintaining accurate records of bookings, appointments, and payments is essential.

-This role often involves handling multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering calls, assisting clients at the front desk, managing booking systems, and some record keeping.

ALL STAFF MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP UP WITH STUDIO CLEANLINESS, WHICH INCLUDES STUDIOS, BATHROOMS, AND COMMON AREA.

Qualifications:

-MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND PM SHIFTS.

-Strong live sound experience is essential.

-Proficiency in operating both analog and digital mixing boards is a MUST.

-Knowledge of live sound equipment and audio signal flow.

-Computer and phone skills for communication and scheduling are a MUST.

-Handy skills for equipment setup and maintenance are a significant plus.

-Strong communication and customer service skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
