Then now is the time to explore the opportunities of PepsiCo: what makes you unique makes us better.Major Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities: The role of the production planner is to manage the finished goods production planning and inventory management activities for assigned finished goods at the plant and co-packers while ensuring achievement of customer service goals and minimizing operating cost, inventory investment and waste. Responsible for Supply Planning production and deployment of greater than 25MM cases of finished goods across multiple Plants/Co-Packers (6+ plants/production lines), and corresponding Mixing Centers. Provide national inventory/ production oversight for key Contract Ops brands Develop clear understanding of end to end supply chain process from make site, to mixing centers and into PBC warehouses Effectively utilize and master the suite of ISCP planning tools to generate timely production plans. These plans must be communicated along with revisions each week to the co-packers, material vendors and internal customers. Effectively utilize Replenishment Planning tool and STO process to generate timely replenishment orders as well as monitor deployment and delivery of appropriate inventory levels to the warehouses. Understanding of inventory levels for packaging materials to meet the needs of finished goods production. Monitor inventory replenishment plans for the effective and timely launch of new products and promotional activities. This includes working with the Integration Manager, Contract Manufacturing Manager, Logistics and Transportation. TPO Process: Monitor inventories of items that are to be discontinued to eliminate / minimize scrap dollars. Including finished goods, semi - finished goods, ingredients and materials. EPQI: Monitor weekly freshness reports to develop a game plan to address products that will not meet freshness targets. Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders within Supply Chain Ability to backup other planners in the department as needed.
