Part Time Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, processing payments, and ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of operations. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Prepare and submit invoices to customers with accuracy and efficiency Update and maintain customer records, including tracking discounts and special payment arrangements Process payments made via cash, credit cards, and checks, and reconcile any discrepancies Maintain precise records of all accounts, transactions, and invoices to ensure customer accounts are up to date Regularly review accounts receivable and contact delinquent customers to secure payment Collaborate with sales and customer service departments to resolve disputes over invoices or payments Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as legal guidelines Prepare reports detailing unpaid invoices, customer changes, and payment discrepancies Provide support to the finance team during audits or internal reviews.
