Job Description:
Our event rental company is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dishware and Catering Equipment Prep Associate to join our team. This entry-level position plays a crucial role in ensuring our rental equipment is ready for events. You will be responsible for pulling, cleaning, prepping, and packaging tableware and catering equipment, as well as cleaning and inventorying returned items.
Key Responsibilities:
Pulling and prepping dishware, tableware, and catering equipment for upcoming events
Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, and catering items to meet quality standards
Packaging equipment for delivery to clients and ensuring it is properly organized
Inspecting returned items, cleaning, and sorting for inventory
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area
Assisting with inventory tracking and restocking as necessary
Requirements:
Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning and prepping procedures
Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently
Willingness to learn and take direction
Prior experience in dishwashing, catering, or event setups is a plus but not required
Team player with a positive attitude
