Large Horse farm
(W. Henrietta, NY) is seeking a new member to join the fast-paced crew at our large, multi-barn boarding facility. Full and part time available. Primary duties include cleaning stalls and sweeping/vacuuming barn aisles, as well as turning horses in/out to assigned pastures. Other responsibilities may include changing blankets, cleaning and filling water troughs and buckets, distributing hay in pastures, driving various farm vehicles, maintaining property grounds, etc. Horse experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate(s) to work around and handle the horses safely.
Ideal candidates must have
-motivation
-reliable transportation and a cell phone
-able to follow instructions
-show up when scheduled
-a willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
-the ability to work independently and as part of a team
-the ability to lift 40+ pounds repeatedly (muck buckets, hay bales, etc.)
Available hours are
Monday-Friday shift 6:30 am-12:30pm
2:00pm-6:00pm
Saturday-Sunday 6:30 am-12:30pm
2:00pm-6:00pm
Compensation : Hourly
