Assistant Chief Engineer

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, our Assistant Chief Engineer leads our hotel Maintenance team (Duty Technicians, Electricians, Painters, Handy Persons) in maintaining our buildings, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings across our Hotel Precinct at Sydney Olympic Park.You will lead a dedicated team of technicians who perform a range of activities such as basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and general repairs. Duties can include;Manage preventative and reactive maintenanceMotivate, train and develop your team of engineering professionalsLiaise with the leadership team to support them with maintaining the hotel assetsEnsure the safe, efficient and compliant operation of our hotelsTackle the occasional after-hours maintenance emergency
