Offering a full-time position of Restaurant Service Manager for the Wild Googe Pub. Excellent opportunity to both manage staff and still work closely with the costumers. Hourly pay between $19-$20 p/h, plus tips and gratuity. Must have knowledge and experience both in serving tables and working as a bartender/mixologist! Banquet service is also available.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviews and has a thorough understanding of all banquet event orders, peak hotel rooms sold and trends to coordinate scheduled for events and restaurant server schedules.

Provides service staff with direction at each night or function to ensure a high degree of guest satisfaction.

Develops a weekly schedule for breakfast, dinner and bartender schedules to provide for proper coverage in the Wild Goose Pub.

Responsible for training for all F&B Staff.

Covers shifts for absent associates. Must have knowledge of various F&B serving standards, experience at breakfast, dinner and bartender service.

Periodically meets with department heads to plan and coordinate efforts for scheduled functions, volume of business, to ensure the efficient execution of the service is received by all guests. Informs staff of special requests, arriving groups or changes that will affect either the food and beverage production or service for the Wild Goose Pub.

Inspects the Wild Goose Pub each day for cleanliness, side work completion each day.

Periodically checks with client to ensure satisfaction with the function and to respond to any additional requests.

Continually directs and assists service staff on proper F&B service etiquette during breakfast and dinner time periods. Ensure a high degree of product quality and service is carried out each and every night.

Supervises cleanup and breakdown of function after its completion, accounts for all equipment and supplies. Develops cleaning checklist and side work and ensures it is completed daily and nightly.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

General knowledge of bookkeeping and auditing procedures required.

Five years of F&B operations/production and service standards.

History of work on a POS system.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Demonstrated ability to lead a team

Excellent attention to detail

Financial savvy

Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems
