Job Title: Designer and DrafterJob DescriptionThe role involves interfacing with the entire team to coordinate design, provide detailing, and execute our prefabricated light gauge structural systems. The client developed a particular expertise in using prefabricated light gauge structural systems. They have constructed millions of square feet of buildings using this technology. This is what you would be working on.
General knowledge of building construction and its associated building assemblies.
Understanding of the project life cycle in construction.
Interpret project drawings.
AutoCAD experience.
Generating shop drawings for in-house and subcontracted fabrications.
Assisting with coordination of design during preconstruction and construction phases of the project.
Assisting Project Managers with preconstruction, procurement, construction, and close-out tasks during a project.
