I have run a successful fine gardening business for over 20 years in the Asheville area. I am ready to pass on my clients and sell my equipment to the right person. I would like to help with the transition for about 6 months. After that, I would still be available to help with the transition as needed as a consultant.
The skills the new business owner would need are:
1. Hard working and dedicated to the business.
2. Good knowledge of typical landscape plants and decent knowledge of native plants.
3. Knowledge of tools and techniques.
4. Ability to lead a team.
5. Able to communicate clearly.
6. Ability to relate to customers and the drive to do what is asked of you.
7. Willingness to learn about the equipment, plant ordering, and invoicing.
