Department: Global Technology & Operations is responsible for technology development, infrastructure, information and cyber security, data strategy and analytics, customer service, and operations in support of all lines of business across 40+ markets around the world.The Opportunity: The Business Planning Consultant performs activities that support strategic business planning functions within the Global Technology & Operations, Strategy & Planning department. The incumbent will participate in business planning, capacity planning and forecasting, space management governance and reporting, rewards and recognition program management, and tracking progress toward sustainability goals. This role partners with management to develop metrics, performance measures, and operational reports that support business objectives and results.The Strategic Business Planning role has the responsibility to support conferences, meetings, and events including site visits involving executives and senior leaders. Requires collaboration across functions within GTO and across the enterprise. Additionally, the role will support activities across the strategy and planning team. Key Relationships:· Reports to: Director, GTO Strategy & Planning.· Stakeholders: Across Global Technology & Operations, Global Corporate Real Estate, Global Communications, Global Events Management, Human Resources, and Global Sustainability teams.Key Responsibilities: · Develop relationships and manage stakeholder alignment and coordination specifically with facilities, site leaders, and space planning managers across MetLife. · Assist in the managing of space governance across GTO Real Estate footprint including daily workspace requests. · Collect monthly data and conduct analyses for departmental reporting on workspace governance. · Create and deliver monthly and ad hoc space planning status and progress updates to key stakeholders. · Participate in the creation, communication, and implementation of tactical plans. · Support global events including leadership conferences, SLT engagement with local sites, and strategic meetings.· Develop relationships and support rewards and recognition stakeholders specifically delegates across GTO departments and regions, reporting points of contact, and Center Stage vendor partners. · Assist in the managing of GTO Rewards and Recognition programming including ad hoc recognition requests.· Partner with reporting stakeholders to deliver rewards and recognition program status and progress updates to management and key stakeholders.· Support strategy and planning budget tracking specifically for leadership conferences and recognition programs· Support global events including annual recognition celebrations and sustainability campaigns.· Assist in the development of best practices, to continuously improve how we deliver events in a sustainable way.Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in business operations, project or program planning, and stakeholder management.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to prepare, conduct presentations, and communicate with senior and executive management.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong knowledge of department and company operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with high level executives.

Adept at presenting to stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree required.
