Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves supporting a commercial real estate company with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP). This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle daily accounting functions, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Utilize various accounting software systems for financial management Engage with ADP - Financial Services for accurate accounting processes Utilize Concur and Great Plains (GPAC) for efficient financial management Maintain and update financial data in Microsoft Excel Process check payments and manage billing functions Maintain accurate records of all accounting-related activities Resolve any accounting-related inquiries or issues promptly and professionally. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Concur Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Billing Functions Proficiency in Check Processing Background in Real Estate Property/Facilities Management Accounting Specialist experience is preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
