Job Title: Azure Architect/Developer Location: REMOTE Duration: 6+ Months Background:

  • We are looking to migrate our software operations stack and existing application portfolio to Azure over time.
  • We have a few app services running in Azure and have Virtual Network integrations with our on-prem network and server infrastructure
Azure Architect/Developer Candidate:
  • Minimum Azure experience required: 5 years.
  • Minimum development experience: 5 years.
  • Strong development and architectural knowledge on Azure development/ Cloud Security/ Cloud Devops services / Governance. Background in asp.net core/c# preferred.
  • Must have worked on cloud migration/cloud automation/cloud transformation projects.
  • Develop with costs in mind: Bandwidth and data gravity concerns
  • Ability to scale applications and data
  • Ability for a single monitoring and diagnostics pipeline/tooling
  • Develop for resiliency
  • Script environments
Migration Planning - Ideal candidate will be able to review our current app portfolio and operations stack and recommend a general high-level plan for migrating and rewriting all asp, asp.net, and asp.net core applications to run in Azure, using Azure AD for authorization and authentication and suggesting architectural and software design changes to optimize for the cloud. Training/Education - Ideal candidate will be able to create and organize training sessions and documentation for the existing developer team on Azure technologies so they can maintain, develop, troubleshoot, monitor, diagnose, and operate web applications and APIs following best practices for new and converted applications and their services running in Azure. Development - Ideal candidate will be able to rewrite/architect existing web applications and APIs to run in Azure with a cloud first design and best practices. Support - Ideal candidate will be able to assist with recommending, documenting, and automating troubleshooting and resolution steps for Tier 1 and 2 support teams as well as for the development team for operational related issues or outages due to Azure services.
