Description:

This role will be solely supporting one of the largest customers of the client handling up to 40 inbound/outbound calls daily pertaining to gaining access to key fobs and walking employees of the customer and installers/technicians through routine alarm system checks. They will then update the internal system with any pertinent information.

Responsible for communicating the programming/troubleshooting process to customers or installers in the field. Will walk through testing procedures and a QC checklist to ensure systems are working properly. If not, will dispatch a technician as appropriate.

They will work within Excel to document information pertaining to the client. Experience with pivot tables and V-Lookups is a plus.

Administrative ad-hoc functions related to the bank alarm panels and key fobs.

Customer service/call center experience + any electronic security/tier 1 helpdesk or troubleshooting experience (2+ years)

Experience working within Microsoft applications - Excel, Outlook, Word

RELIABLE - if they do not have a great work ethic, it will hurt the rest of the team. Need to be dependable for them to show up to work daily on time.

Need to have a good understanding of computers + PC/typing skills, proficient with technology and navigating systems

Organization & attention to detail is crucial (NO room for errors, need to be thorough and competent).

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

o Anyone dealing with electronic security; any experience with any other large security integrator, would be helpful. (ADT, Johnson Controls, Convergint, etc.)o Tier 1 helpdesk environment would be similar (programming/troubleshooting/computer work within an operating system as well as servicing individuals and having a positive demeanor and communication).Experience Level:Entry LeveAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
