Description:
Leads a team of 4-6 design engineers for an assigned portfolio of projects.
Aids designers and drafters in work planning and prioritization.
Helps to resolves technical issues related to projects.
Assists Sales Department in project bids.
Aids project management in technical tasks related to refurbishment of hydro-turbines and related equipment.
Helps provide reviews and approvals of designs and technical documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
5+ years’ experience in mechanical design of large rotating equipment experiences preferred.
3+ years’ experience leading or managing a technical team.
