components for testing by installing tooling, pedestals, adapter plates, oil
seals, bearings, calibrations, controls, fuel system, lube systems, etc. per
job documentation, process or engineering assembly and testing specifications.How You’ll Make an Impact
Setup andaligns turbine-generator components for testing by installing tooling,pedestals, adapter plates, oil seals, bearings, calibrations, controls,fuel system, lube systems, etc. per job documentation, process orengineering assembly and testing specifications.
Performrequired tests, reads results, and record data according tospecifications.
Calculatebalance weight moves and balance rotating apparatus using computers and/ormanual drawing vectors.
Setup andoperates: Balance bunker, Transporter, Balance and seasoninginstruments/equipment, Small bunker drive, Vacuum Spin Facility.
Work in otherareas of the campus on other products as needed.
What You Bring
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Need to have1-3 years of industrial-mechanical experience
Have knowledgeof shop mathematics and operations, together with the use of complicateddrawings, specifications, charts, tables, various types of precisionmeasuring instruments and/or the training generally applicable in thisparticular or specialized occupation.
Ability toobtain fork truck and crane license. Prefer to have previous experience.
Must pass mathcompetency / balancer exam.
Applicants mustbe legally authorized for employment in the United States without need forcurrent or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energyemployees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internaltransfers.
