Come be a part of what makes us so special!The OpportunityAs a dedicated Senior Liquidity Strategy Analyst, you will develop, implement, and monitor liquidity strategies for the diverse needs of USAA and its members, utilizing knowledge of the financial services industry, regulatory and rating agency requirements, and effective risk management. Executes complex liquidity and financial initiatives collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure USAA's ongoing financial strength. Communicates liquidity analysis and reporting to governance committees, senior management, regulatory bodies and the USAA Board of Directors.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Plano, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.What you'll do:

Develops complex analytical strategies, tools and methodologies to model, measure, monitor and assess capital and liquidity adequacy across the enterprise including insurance, investment and banking subsidiaries.

Develops and monitors capital and liquidity policies and comprehensive capital plans and contingency funding plans.

Independently assesses and communicates complex regulatory capital and liquidity rules.

Conducts complex balance sheet analysis integrating capital, liquidity, cash and investment strategies. Makes recommendations to leadership on analysis.

Responsible for efficient deployment of capital and liquidity across the enterprise, including insurance, investment and banking lines of business, to meet multiple regulatory, rating agency and internal management objectives.

Responsible for efficient management of cash positions for the enterprise, insurance, investment and banking lines of business.

Leads intercompany capital transactions and member distribution strategies.

Advises key stakeholders on capital and liquidity management issues according to industry best practices.

Evaluates analysis and provides recommendations to governance committees if a risk tolerance is exceeded.

Key contributor to Dodd Frank Act Stress Testing (DFAST) and Treasury initiatives in enterprise stress test planning and execution.

Evaluates stress scenario results and establishes contingency plans in partnership with key business stakeholders for reporting to senior management, governance committees, and the respective boards of directors.

Analyzes stress scenario impacts to the USAA Consolidated/P&C/Bank/Life Capital Plans and Contingency Funding Plans and associated capital and liquidity metrics for reporting to senior management, governance committees, and the respective boards of directors.

Primary contributor in the preparation and communication of key capital and liquidity plans, metrics, analysis and reports to governance committees, senior management, regulatory bodies and the USAA Board of Directors.

Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

6 years of related experience in Finance, Risk Management, Treasury, Capital and Liquidity Management and/or Accounting.

Subject matter expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel.

Proven ability to effectively influence and build cross-functional relationships with employees of various levels throughout the organization.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and present executive-level presentations.

Ability to effectively work with both internal and external partners.

Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights

Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Demonstrated experience in data analysis, including familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or other analytical software

Experience working in capital markets, including understanding of financial instruments, trading or market operations

Background in accounting, with knowledge of financial statements and regulatory reporting

Professional certifications (e.g., CPA,CFA, or equivalent)
