Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .The Strategy Rotational Program is a 2-year program for Senior Strategy Consultants, which aims to develop future leaders at Wells Fargo through pairing on-the-job learning with tailored training and career development opportunities to continue building your strategy skillset and business knowledge. You will complete multiple rotations across various strategy teams Business Strategy, Digital Strategy, and Corporate Strategy teams while gaining broad exposure to our businesses, products and services, and customer segments.As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will work alongside Wells Fargo's strategy teams and provide strategic advice, subject matter expertise, and innovative solutions to Wells Fargo businesses and top executives. In your role, you will contribute towards defining the overall strategy of the firm and lines of business, develop execution roadmaps and governance models to help businesses execute on Wells Fargo's top strategic priorities.We are looking for a talented, self-driven, and ambitious candidates who can be successful in a highly matrixed organizations to help us accomplish Wells Fargo's strategic goals through a collaborative team approach.In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Strategy & Planning

Contribute to large scale planning related to Strategy & Planning

Assist in the identification of strategic business, investment opportunities, evaluation, and approval process of identified opportunities

Review and analyze business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives

Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables

Resolve moderately complex issues

Lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

A BS/BA degree or higher and Master of Business Administration (strongly preferred)

Experience with a premier strategy consulting firm or prior corporate strategy within Financial Services, FinTech or BigTech

Interest in developing or having subject-matter expertise within consumer, commercial or corporate banking and its products

Strategic, "outside the box" thinking with proven ability to navigate through ambiguity, define and deconstruct problems, connect the dots, understand bigger picture and broader interconnectivity to the line of business and enterprise

Experience independently leading distinct bodies of work and/or projects

Skilled at developing an approach and assessing business real time competitive advantage, leveraging the internal and external data and business intelligence to formulate the desired outcome

Outstanding problem-solving skills, qualitative and quantitative data analysis experience and high attention to detail

Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to line of business stakeholders, contribute independent perspective and anticipate their needs

Understand bigger picture and broader interconnectivity and impact to the line of business and enterprises

Ability to effectively lead, partner with and successfully influence senior executives and other stakeholders at all levels across the matrix organization

Effective in connecting the strategy to the execution; being inclusive and transparent when communicating to the key stakeholders and sponsors of the initiatives.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to give effective presentations to senior and executive level leaders

Job Expectations:

Candidate start date will be July 15, 2024.

Must be willing to work on site in either Charlotte, NC or New York City, NY. No other locations will be considered.
