Position Summary
The Carpenter is responsible for performing a variety of construction tasks involving physical labor on residential and commercial job sites. This includes framing, siding, trim, cabinetry, demolition, and other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Measure, cut, and install wood, metal, and other materials
Build and install framing, doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, and finishes
Assist with demolition, site prep, and cleanup
Work with other trades and subcontractors on-site
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and safety
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in residential or commercial carpentry
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques
Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements
Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
Own basic tools and have reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license
OSHA 10 or willingness to obtain (preferred)
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in various weather conditions
Capable of standing, kneeling, bending, and moving throughout the workday
