Technical Analyst with SEI Investment experience in financial services to join our Charlotte, NC / Florida team. Responsibilities:- Minimum 10+ years’ experience as Technical Analyst
- Create BRDs and Specifications for solutions.
- Prepare source to target mapping document with transformation rules
- Create pseudo code with all ‘WHERE clauses’, ‘JOINs’ etc. based on business requirements.
- Must have strong SQL skills to analyze data but not expected to create any database views or stored procedure.
- Work with SQL development team to get the database objects created/unit tested [Note: there is a separate team of Oracle SQL developers]
- Perform unit testing by executing SQL queries of database objects prior to handing over to QA team
- Work with QA team as and when defects are raised to understand if it is a ‘code error’, ‘logic error’ or ‘data error’.
- Hand over ‘code error’ to database development team
- Resolve ‘logic error’ by working with business team
- Resolve ‘data error’ by working with the vendor (SEI)
- Must have prior experience in SEI
- Work with UAT business/technical team and ‘hand hold’ them during their testing by providing correct data and explaining the possible scenarios.
- Work with ETL team if there is any data movement
- Attend project meetings to support forward momentum by providing insights into the Trust platform and also mappings to Trust datasets.
- Investment Management domain experience is desirable.
