Job Description:Industrial Welder – Semiconductor Tool InstallEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Join metallic pipe components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment and techniques in the construction of buildings and structures. Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and complete welds. Determine required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques to meet project specifications. Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts. Cuts and grinds parts, using hand and power tools such as portable grinder, hand file, torch, and arc welding equipment. Must pass project specific weld test. Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications Able to work minimum 40+ plus hours per week Self-motivated individual with a cooperative attitude a must Ability to work with minimum or direct supervision Possess basic math skills Ability to perform quality welds in different positions, locations heights and environments. Perform visual examination of welds Understand and perform purging and pressurization of systems Knowledge of the different types of welding procedures, equipment and materials Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods, equipment and power tools Follow oral and written directions, plans, and blueprints Reading and interpreting all standard construction drawings: Blueprints, P&IDs, Schematics, Isometrics, 3D Model etc.Preferred Qualifications Preferred 3+ Years Process Pipe fitting and welding in the pharmaceutical or microelectronics industries. Experience with Process and Hygienic Pipe welding using GTAW and Orbital welding procedures Working in a fully operational manufacturing facility Driving/operating Standard Forklift, Forklift Lull, Aerial Boom and Platform Scissor Lift Experience with working with Orbitalum or Swagelok Orbital welding machines Experience with basic shop tools of the trade: Thread Machine, Drill press, Table Bandsaw, Orbital saw, Metal Break, Metal Shear, Plasma Arc, Oxygen/Acetylene Torch Experience with basic hand and power tools of the trade: Grinder, Port-A-Band, ProPress Crimping tool, Facing tool, Tubing benders, Pipe Wrenches, Pipe Pliers, Wrenches, Ratch/Socket wrenches, Centering Head, Pipe Wrap, Pipe Clamp, Fitter Grips, Flange Aligner, Radius Markers, Welder’s Gauge, Flange Spreader, Hack Saw, Allen Wrenches, Spacing Wedges, Two-Hole Pins, Miter Marker, Tape Measure, Protractor, Pipe Fitter’s Square, Framing Square, Screwdrivers, Calculator, Laser Level.
