Accounting Assistant

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. In this role, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks related to accounting functions and software systems. Your main responsibilities will be to process customer credit applications, maintain customer credit records, and resolve customer inquiries. Responsibilities: Accurately processing customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records using accounting software systems Resolving customer inquiries and issues related to their credit applications Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently Conducting regular auditing to ensure accuracy of financial data Performing bank reconciliations as part of financial controls Utilizing QuickBooks and other related software for various accounting functions Ensuring compliance with ADP - Financial Services guidelines and procedures Working with CaseWare, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for various accounting tasks Contributing to the overall effectiveness of our accounting operations by performing other related tasks as needed. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with CaseWare Proficiency in Concur Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Understanding of various Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Auditing procedures Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations Experience with QuickBooks and its versions like QuickBooks Enterprise, Quickbooks Online, Quickbooks Premier, QuickBooks Pro, Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
