Description: The Program Coordinator for the Center of Excellence for Integrative Health Disparities and Equity Research ( CIHDER ) provides consultation and program/project administration to the CIHDER leadership in executing the goals of the center, with a focus on the management and development of research and community outreach projects. The Program Coordinator coordinates, develops, evaluate and manages community outreach programs. The position works closely with community partners to produce community health and education events. The Program Coordinator will specifically focus on creating, promoting, and producing new and innovative community health education events that enhance the engagement of poorly resourced populations in community health-related activities and studies. The Coordinator will manage the day-to-day workflow of the community engagement-related programs in CIHDER , coordinating activities; serving as public contact with internal and external constituents; coordinating meetings; and special projects and events. They will be the first point of contact for university administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents, vendors, alumni, stakeholders, and the general public in coordinating CIHDER community engagement affairs.Primary Function of Organizational Unit: North Carolina A&T State University is an 1890 land-grant doctoral research university dedicated to learning, discovery and community engagement. CIHDER is a research center housed in the Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences that focuses on all aspects of health disparities and health equity research.
