Production Assembler

SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: Inspects raw material at the start of each new order for imperfections.Assemblers working with foam, spot check each incoming foam delivery for imperfections each morning.Uses hand and power tools and glue.Reads production dispatch report to determine which work order item to assemble.Gathers the necessary materials to be used to assemble the item.Inspects the materials for flaws and to ensure quality standards are met.Assembles the various components according to work instructions for the given item model.Checks completed work visually for accuracy.Assists with and is cross trained in other areas; performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all company policies and procedures and incorporates sound safety and housekeeping practices in the day to day work environment.Hours are 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday –Thursday and 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Fridays.
