Assist the Project Manager in all areas of:
Provide miscellaneous administrative support to Program Managers and Division VP and Coordinate new employee onboarding including badging and I-9 Certifier.
Project delivery: the development, maintenance and utilization of project plans and schedules to manage and report against customer requirements.
Depending on the complexity of the project, these plans will address items such as requirements analysis and tracking, risk management, configuration management, project staffing, etc.
Planning/coordinating customer meetings, support the preparation of appropriate presentations, compile/distribute meeting minutes as required and prepare and submit appropriate documentation for customer acceptance of contract deliverables.
Plan and coordinate organizational teaming building activity or events.
Support for visitors, coordinate conference room scheduling, provide refreshments/catering for visitors for meetings and events as needed; shipping and receiving to include preparing items for shipment, create FedEx/shipping labels, drop off/pick up as required. Receive incoming mail/shipments as required.
Create and track purchase orders, as required, to support the procurement and timely delivery of products and services required for each project.
Ensure that bills of materials (BOMs) and/or service orders are accurate, approved, placed, and tracked to ensure timely delivery in support of project schedules.
Collaborate with the project team members (including internal staff, vendors, and subcontractors) to ensure milestones are met on assigned projects.
Responsible for creating project folders on the PMO SharePoint for each project and uploading all project documentation to those PMO SharePoint project folders.
Procard holder to purchase miscellaneous products and services, coordinate P-Card purchases; Generate P-Card vouchers as required; Manage and Order common office supplies.
Travel to other Locations or Customer Sites as necessary.
Required:
If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position.
Consistent and reliable attendance required during normal office hours, M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
1-2 years’ experience planning and supporting telecommunications network projects of similar scope and complexity.
Knowledge of telecommunications systems
Customer interface experience
Experience with supporting matrix teams working in multiple location simultaneously; General user capabilities of Microsoft software applications required primarily Project, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
A Bachelor’s degree or and 0-1 years of related experience; Associate’s degree in a related discipline and 1-2 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
