Hourly Rate: $76 W2; $87 CTC/1099 Job Description: NC DHHS is requesting the Insider Threat Analyst responsible for conducting analysis, providing assessments of known threats and vulnerabilities discovered, and identify policy violations. This resource is responsible for setting up the insider threat program at DHHS level. The candidate should be able to take care of technical services such as design, development, installation and wide-range of systems that support cyber intelligence/ hunting functions. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related discipline. Analytical problem-solving skills A keen ability to identify trends and patterns in data Organizational and cross-functional communications skills to disseminate and present findings to key stakeholders. Risk scoring and threat analysis tools. Required Skills:
- Prior experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Network Operation Center (NOC) (5 years)
- Project management experience and/or experience leading complex technical projects Hands-on experience in insider threat analysis (7 years)
- Experience with User and Entity Behavior Analytics (5 years)
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) security controls (7 years)
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk (5 years)
- Must be able to serve as a knowledge base for organizations as it relates to compliance requirements and mitigation strategies. (5 years)
- Experience in digital forensics (3 years)
- Experience in building Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) (3 years)
- Familiar with NIST 800-53 Rev 4. ISO-27001, HIPAA, and IRS Pub 1075. (7 years)
